MY DAYS WITH GIADA

My dear friends,

I'm here with my new friend Giada. her family is very happy to host me. Her mother is a good cook, so as soon as I arrived home there was a delicious dish waiting for me: pasta and tomato sauce. Giada is a very quiet girl and she is very clever at school so she spend her afternoons doing her homework. But when she finishes we watch some Tv, go shopping or meet her friends.

On Sunday morning we went to the church to take part to a religious celebration and then we had lunch at her grandma's.

 

I ate lasagne pasta, cutlets and chips. Giada and I share the same hobby: we like comics, so on Sunday afternoon we read a comic about the giants and then we played with Ps4.

MY DAYS WITH MATTIA

Dear friends, 

I spent some days with my friend Mattia Acquaviva...

The day before yesterday we went shopping and I bought a few personal effects I needed.


Mattia has a nice home and he let me play with the slide. I also helped him with his homework.



After such a busy day I was hungry so I had a deliciuos sandwich with ham and tomato.

Believe me, Mattia is a really nice boy, he makes me laugh and I'm sure I'll be sad when I leave him.

ODYSSEAS AND MARIA GIOVANNA

Dear friends,

how nice to see you are all well!
My new Italian friend who is hosting me is Maria Giovanna.
She plays volleyball in a team and two days ago she took me to the volleyball court. I watched her training and I must say it is a funny sport.

Maria Giovanna has got many hobbies.

I like listening to her while she is playing the guitar and she is really good. I am happy to have such a loving and kind friend.

Yesterday Maria Giovanna took me to school with her and she introduced her friend Martina to me. I also visited the school, Maia-Materdona, and I was amazed: it’s really big! It has got two floors and everybody is nice. 

After school we went to the park Poti where we took a photo of the "spider web", which is a big swing. 

Today I'll be hosted by a new friend... I'm a bit sad because I'm sure I'll miss Maria Giovanna.

IN ITALY AT LAST!

Dear friends,
at last I arrived in Italy, at Mesagne. Last Saturday morning miss Andriulo introduced me to her students. They were all very happy to meet me and to take pictures with me.



Riccardo is the first friend who is hosting me for a few days. He is very nice, he attends the second year at Materdona middle school and his family is so happy to host me.



In the afternoon I helped Riccardo with his homework




and then we relaxed together on the sofa reading an adventure book.







In the evening we went out to eat a pizza with Riccardo’s friends. We had great fun!

Sunday was a very sunny and lovely day. I got up pretty late and had breakfast at 10 a.m. Then I had a shower and finally took me to Brindisi where his granny lives. She is a cute woman.











We had a traditional Italian lunch: we ate orecchiette with tomato sauce and meatballs. Orecchiette is ear shaped handmade pasta. It was yummy!
At 5 pm. we drank a cup of tea with Riccardo's brother Antonio and then we went back home at 8 pm to have dinner dinner. After dinner we listened to some music.


Riccardo and his family are very nice, but next Wednesday I'll leave them because I'm going to be hosted by a new friend.
